Guangdong Blue Treasure Pharmaceuticals Co., Ltd. was founded in 1994 and is a joint-venture pharmaceutical manufacturer located in Qingyuan City (a city near Guangzhou), Guangdong Province with a total registered capital of USD 7.53 million and a total investment of USD 8.53 million. The shareholders of Blue Treasure consist of Apotex Fermentation Inc. of Canada, Livzon Pharmaceutical Group Inc., Livzon New North River Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., Sichuan Industrial Institute of Antibiotics of China National Medicines Co., Ltd., and Far East Biotechnology Engineering Co., Ltd. of Switzerland.
Blue Treasure occupies an area of 18,916 square meters with about 120 employees. The products currently manufactured include Mevastatin/Compactin, Pravastatin Sodium, and Mycophenolic Acid.
Blue Treasure has a well-established quality management system and operates in full compliance with ICH Q7 and equivalent international standards. The products manufactured by Blue Treasure are exported worldwide.
